The small market town of Bromyard is three
miles away and offers an excellent range of independent
shops and bus services covering the county. The National
Trust property of Brockhampton is a mile away and there is a
network of footpaths around the farm.
Further afield are National Trust properties at Barrington
Hall and Croft Castle, traditional country towns, beautiful
churches, the cathedral city of Hereford with the Mappa
Mundi and the Black-and-White Trail of half-timbered
villages.
There are several inns and public
houses nearby, many of which offer food. The numerous local
plant nurseries and open gardens make this a fascinating
destination for garden lovers.
