Looking forward to Summer….
“Lambs are bouncing around the fields and the valley is full of birdsong.”
The valley is filled with birdsong every evening as the robins, thrushes and wrens claim their nesting territories. Clear skies mean some spectacular sunsets and a good view of the stars. All the lambs are now out of the lambing shed and their evenings are spent racing each other up and down the fields. There is good walking from the door – the footpath route begins 80 metres from Hareley Barn and offers good views across three Counties.
Hareley Barn benefits from being an individual property with its own entrance. It has a new smart EV charging point which is compatible with all electric cars so EV drivers visiting us now don’t have to worry about running out of charge or stopping over at in-transit rapid charging points before arrival. Hareley Barn also has a dedicated FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) broadband supply offering 200Mbs.
The independent shops in Bromyard, three miles away, are handy for guests’ needs whilst on holiday and include two craft butchers and delicatessens and two bakeries that bake on the premises. It’s a good time of year to eat out at one of the many traditional inns in the area. The Three Counties showground is ten miles away and offers a variety of events through the year, including the RHS Spring and Autumn Shows and the Royal Three Counties Show. The Black & White Village Trail has beautiful villages to explore (and more inns!). The Conquest Theatre in Bromyard and Malvern Theatre offer evening entertainment and a basket of traditional board games and selection of books in Hareley Barn offer a relaxing evening in. Many of the students at Hereford College of Arts choose to stay in the County once they’ve graduated so art and craft galleries abound.
Hareley Barn’s Mobility 1 accreditation cannot be renewed as the VisitEngland scheme has now closed but the provisions put in place to meet the scheme standards are still in place and a floorplan and access guide are shown on this website.
